Mississippi School Nutrition Association News

The Mississippi School Nutrition Association seminar was held April 9, 2008 at the Hattiesburg Convention Center. Jamia, a 1st grader at Akin Elementary School won 1st place in the annual "Decorate an Apron" contest in the K-2nd grade category. The theme this year for the contest was "Breakfast - Fuel Your Imagination." She is in Ms. Nichol's homeroom and the cafeteria manager is Ms. Tammy Louis. She received a $50.00 check.
