The function of the Human Resources Department is to be effective and efficient in the recruitment and retention of human resources at the district and school levels with the following responsibilities:

  1. Hiring highly qualified teachers and professionals.
  2. Orientation of new personnel.
  3. Recruitment of personnel
  4. At-will agreements for non-certified staff.
  5. Advertisement of district vacancies.
  6. Staff job descriptions and evaluations.
  7. Adheres to local, state, and federal regulations.
  8. Maintenance of personnel records and verification of employment.
  9. Processing and maintaining professional staff and state credentials.
  10. Policy governance and adherance.
