The Board of Trustees of the Greenville Public School District represents the state and the people of the community in the total operation of the public schools of this district. The Board consists of five members appointed by the Council of the City of Greenville for five-year terms so that the term of one member shall expire each year.

The Board meets on the 2nd and 4th Tuesday of every month.
