Solomon Middle School is a Level 3 school with over 500 students in 7th and 8th grade and 70 faculty and staff. The school sets high expectations for students by focusing on academic skills and providing an orderly environment.

Curriculum

The faculty of Solomon Middle School teaches the Mississippi State Curriculum to bring out the best in our children. Academic core teachers are organized into teams called clusters. Each cluster consists of math, science, social studies, and language arts. Our emphasis on math has led us to teach math for a two-period block each day. Each student also has the opportunity to participate in electives of sports, physical education, art, music, or band.
