Mission The mission of Greenville Public Schools is to provide all students with a quality education that adheres to rigorous and challenging standards so that they will experience success and become productive members of society.
|
The mission of the PTA is threefold: to support and speak on behalf of children and youth in the schools, in the community, and before governmental agencies and other organizations which make decisions affecting children; to assist parents in developing the skills they need to raise and protect their children; and to encourage parent and public involvement in the public schools of this nation.
Representatives from each of the district's school PTAs join to form a district-wide PTSA Council. The current PTSA president is Jan Vaughn, who represents Coleman Middle School.
You can learn more about getting involved in your child's education and joining the PTA by contacting your youngster's school. |
