Student Services
Ms. K. Steele

Student Services focuses its efforts and activities directly on assisting students (disadvantaged and disabled) enrolled in vocational programs. The primary goal of the service is to enable students to experience success in their chosen vocational programs.

 

The Student Services Program will:

 

bulletAddress specific deficiencies of the disadvantaged and the disabled student
bulletCoordinate with the Vocational Instructor
bulletProvide additional services for the disadvantaged and disabled students

 


Guidance Counselor

Ms. L. Jones
 

The Guidance Counselor will:

bulletProvide students with occupational enrichment skills, college planning, and counseling in the forms of individual, small, and large groups. The vocational counselor can also be used as a community resource and referral service.

SPED Assistant
Ms. L. Robinson

The SPED Assistant will:

bulletWork cooperatively with the classroom teacher in providing an effective educational program.
bulletAssist teachers in daily activities as dictated by the student's Individualized Educational Program (IEP).
bulletServe as the chief source of information and help to any substitute teacher assigned in the absence of the regular teacher.
