Mission

The mission of Greenville Public Schools is to provide all students with a quality education that adheres to rigorous and challenging standards so that they will experience success and become productive members of society.

It is evident that kids who have caring adults in their lives, safe places to go after school, and constructive activities to absorb their interest and energy stand a much better chance of avoiding trouble, succeeding in school, and leading happier lives than those who don't.

The Greenville Public Schools' "Delta Horizon 21st Century Learning Centers" provide a quality after-school program that delivers tutoring in math, language, reading, technology education, and arts and recreation; works to decrease alcohol, tobacco, and illegal drug use; provides new nutrition and health knowledge to improve a participant's well-being; and brings state and local government services closer to those who need them most.

Delta Horizons programs are housed at Manning Elementary, Webb Elementary, and Solomon Middle School.
