It is evident that kids who have caring
adults in their lives, safe places to go after school, and constructive
activities to absorb their interest and energy stand a much better
chance of avoiding trouble, succeeding in school, and leading happier
lives than those who don't.
The Greenville Public Schools' "Delta Horizon 21st Century Learning
Centers" provide a quality after-school program that delivers tutoring
in math, language, reading, technology education, and arts and
recreation; works to decrease alcohol, tobacco, and illegal drug use;
provides new nutrition and health knowledge to improve a participant's
well-being; and brings state and local government services closer to
those who need them most.
Delta Horizons programs are housed at Manning Elementary, Webb
Elementary, and Solomon Middle School.
